Interac e-Transfer

Interac e-Transfers are a payment type offered in Canada to facilitate payments between business and personal accounts.

Unlike most payment types, Interac e-Transfers don't require the receiving account number or routing number. Instead, they rely on the recipient's email address and/or phone number associated with the receiving account. This is similar to payment networks like Zelle in the US.
