Internal Accounts Overview

An overview of Internal Accounts.

An Internal Account is a bank account that belongs to your organization. These accounts contain the relevant name, address, entity type information necessary for making payments.

Internal Accounts are associated to a Connection, which is an aggregation of accounts. For example, you may have many bank accounts (Internal Accounts) at your bank (a Connection).

When the Internal Account is a bank account used to facilitate money movement, it may also contain an address, entity type, and other information necessary for making payments. Internal Accounts also specify what payment types and other account-specific configurations are enabled.
