We currently support creating internal accounts within the sandbox environment and at a limited number of banks. Please check to see if you have permissions to do so.

The UUID of the Connection this account should be associated with. A Connection represents your current bank connection that you'd like to create accounts at. Modern Treasury will provide this field manually.

name

The name of the account.

party_name

The legal name on the account.

currency

Follow ISO 4217 currency codes

parent_account_id

string

The UUID of the parent InternalAccount this account should be a child of. This field should only be set if you are creating balance-holding virtual accounts at your bank. Currently not available in sandbox.

counterparty_id

string

The UUID of the Counterparty that this account refers to. This field should only be set for nested internal accounts that have a parent_account_id specified.

metadata

Set of key-value pairs that will be attached to the object and can be used to store additional data.

party_address

object

The address associated with the owner or null.

legal_entity_id

string

The Legal Entity associated to this account.
