Early Access Feature

Early Access features may not be available to all customers or may be subject to change. If you are interested in using this feature, please contact us.

File Transfers provide a streamlined way to efficiently and securely perform recurring data uploads. If you have legacy systems or work with vendors that produce files, this feature eliminates the complexity of building glue code to transform files into API requests, saving you time and effort.

Use this feature to create, update, or delete various objects in Modern Treasury, such as Payment Orders, Expected Transactions, Transactions, and Ledger Transactions. For a full list of options, refer to the Bulk Request documentation.

File transfer details

  • Initiation: You can push Modern Treasury data (vs. Modern Treasury pulling data).

  • Protocols: SFTP (e.g. no FTP or FTPS).

  • File formats: A broad range of file formats, including CSV, JSON, and NDJSON.

  • File size limit: Up to 5 GB.

Setup

Modern Treasury will configure an SFTP dropbox for your account. You will receive a username and SSH key for authentication, which you can use to transfer files via your preferred SFTP client.

A Modern Treasury Professional Services Engineer or Solutions Architect will work with you to define the transformation logic needed to convert the file data into the information needed to create Modern Treasury objects.
