# Case Webhooks

| Event        | Description                                                                    |
| :----------- | :----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **opened**   | A case has been opened and one or more actions are requested to resolve it.    |
| **updated**  | A case has been updated, for example when its requested actions change.        |
| **resolved** | All of the case's requested actions have been resolved and the case is closed. |

Cases are opened when a compliance check on a [Legal Entity](https://docs.moderntreasury.com/platform/reference/legal-entities) fails and Modern Treasury needs more information from you.
