Import a Transaction as a Return

You can now import a posted Transaction as a Return through the Modern Treasury UI. This allows you to manually create a Return object and move a Payment Order, Return, or Reversal into Returned status.

You'll see a new "Import as Return" dropdown on the top right of the Transactions view page. Selecting it opens a modal where you can choose the relevant Returnable, provide a reason, and confirm.

This is available in production and sandbox environments to users with Admin permissions (specifically, permission to create Return and Transaction Line Item objects).

This functionality is only available for Bring Your Own Bank.

Note: this action cannot be undone.
